The Storm Trysail Club Foundation and Lakewood (TX) Yacht Club will be hosting the first Gulf Coast US Sailing Sanctioned Hands-On Safety-at-Sea Seminar on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook, Texas, with the support of Houston Yacht Club and the Galveston Bay Cruising Association.

The seminar for both tracks will be supplemented by Storm Trysail's educational Safety-at-Sea Video Library produced by long time Storm Trysail member Gary Jobson. These videos cover a broad range of safety-at-sea subjects and will be available to attendees online prior to the seminar. The videos and other supplemental training documents must be viewed before arrival at the seminar. Participants seeking World Sailing Offshore Certification will also be required to take the US Sailing Offshore online video course and pass the associated online exam before attending the seminar (please bring your certificate of completion with you to the seminar’s on-site check in).
